Dr. Satyendra Kumar, Principal of BITT P, is a distinguished academic leader with extensive expertise in Electrical Engineering. Holding a Ph.D. in Improvement of Power Flow Employing FACTS Devices from BIT Sindri (VBU, Hazaribagh), he has over three decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. Throughout his career, Dr. Kumar has held prominent positions at esteemed institutions across India, including Professor & Head at Asansol Engineering College, Professor at Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, and Professor & HOD at SGBIT, VTU Belagavi. A prolific researcher, he has published numerous international papers in power electronics, electrical machines, and power flow control using FACTS devices. He is a Life Member of ISTE, a Member of IETE, and a Member of the Institute of Engineers India. Dr. Kumar’s technical expertise spans high-voltage engineering, microprocessors, electrical drives, and power system analysis. His contributions extend beyond academics to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and student career counseling. With a steadfast commitment to innovation in engineering education, Dr. Kumar continues to lead BITT Polytechnic towards academic excellence.
